Yesterday I was in Dallas, Texas at the Booker T. Washington Performing Arts High School to attend the 2021 Dallas Pyrex Swap and share my proof copy of Shiny, Happy Pyrex People. The event was hosted by Nate Smith and you could see the level of effort he put forth to make it a fantastic event. The attendance was very good, the space was perfect, and there were quite a few interesting pieces for sale. I enjoyed catching up with old Pyrex friends and making new Pyrex friends. The Dallas area Pyrex collectors were the first folks to take a chance on me as a new author and contributed much content to the book. I will be forever grateful to these individuals.
